pneumatic, mobile and industrial hydraulic orders indexes
Each point on this graph represents the most recent 12 months of orders compared to the previous 12 months of orders. Each point can be read as a percentage. For example, 97.7 (the March 2014 level of the industrial hydraulic series) indicates that industrial hydraulic orders received from April 2013 to March 2014 were 97.7% of the orders received from April 2012 to March 2013. (Base Year 2013 = 100)

Orders and Shipments – percent changes
Cumulative year-to-date 2014 vs. same months cumulative for 2013
  Pneumatic Industrial Hydraulic Mobile Hydraulic
Shipments Orders Shipments Orders Shipments Orders
Jan 2014 3.6 5.1 0.0 1.4 12.1 18.9
Feb 2014 3.6 1.9 1.1 2.9 10.9 22.8
Mar 2014 4.8 4.5 3.2 5.3 10.9 20.8
The table above is expressed in terms of cumulative percent changes. These changes refer to the percent difference between the relevant cumulative total for 2014 and the total for the same months in 2013. For example, the March 2014 pneumatic orders figure of 4.5 means that for the calendar year through March 2014, pneumatic orders increased 4.5% compared to the same time period in 2013. (Base Year 2013 = 100)
