Discover Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning Opportunities through Houston Community College

NFPA’s Workforce Engagement Groups serve as a forum to discuss activities and opportunities designed to connect NFPA members with the Fast Track to Fluid Power and Power Partner programs, giving participating members increased visibility to educational institutions in their region and recruitment opportunities to more successfully interact with students interested in fluid power.

Join us for an upcoming virtual WEG in the Texas Hub. This meeting will take place on May 6th from 2-3PM Central Time.
At this meeting, we will be joined by Dr. Christina Robinson, the Executive Director of Work Based Learning at Houston Community College (HCC). Dr. Robinson will explain how your company can host student apprentices through their Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program. She will also share state funding opportunities for your company to support student apprentices, and ways they support upskilling and reskilling your current workforce.
