Explore Fluid Power Workforce Development Opportunities at Macomb Community College

Michigan Workforce Engagement Group (WEG) Meeting
Macomb Community College | Detroit, Michigan
May 1, 2025 | 8:30 - 9:30am EDT

NFPA’s Workforce Engagement Groups serve as a forum to discuss activities and opportunities designed to connect NFPA members with the Fast Track to Fluid Power and Power Partner programs, giving participating members increased visibility to educational institutions in their region and recruitment opportunities to more successfully interact with students interested in fluid power.

You are invited to join the NFPA and Macomb Community College Staff at an in-person Michigan Workforce Engagement Group (WEG) meeting on Macomb’s campus.

This is an opportunity for you to learn more about Macomb's Fluid Power Certificate, provide advisement on a middle and high school fluid power summer camp, and learn more about ways to get involved in the MI Fast Track Hub. Breakfast will be provided. Following the meeting, there is an opportunity to visit the Fluid Power Action Challenge to see NFPA workforce development initiatives in action, and tour Macomb's recently updated Skilled Trades & Advanced Technology Center.

Reach out to Haley Nemeth at hnemeth@nfpa.com with questions.
