Since 1960, the International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) has provided an objective, third-party assessment of skill levels and knowledge for thousands of fluid power professionals, making it the industry standard for the fluid power and motion control industries.
The success of the Fluid Power industry is not in its hardware, pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses – but rather the success is through the efforts of our dedicated individuals - innovators, researchers, application engineers, educators, as well as sales and service personnel. These people are the reason that our industry continues to thrive.
A special award has been established to acknowledge those individuals who have dedicated their careers and have made significant contributions to fluid power technology. Don't let hard work go unnoticed, submit a nomination!
Nominations are accepted from January 1 - April 15 each year. Any person can nominate an individual, living or deceased, who demonstrated excellence within their 25+ year fluid power career; however, an individual is only allowed to nominate for 1) living and 1) posthumous.
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE AWARD
Verifiable 25+ cumulative years in the fluid power industry.
Those nominated are asked to complete a 15-question application.
SELECTION OF AWARD RECIPIENTS
A panel of judges reviews the applications and selects the Class of Inductees. The Hall of Fame Inductees will be announced on June 19 - Fluid Power Professionals' Day.
